Leading-Edge Training Videos on HTML5, CSS3, and More
You probably know of Carsonified from its Future of Web Apps and Future of Web Design conferences, or perhaps from its ThinkVitamin site.
More recently, the company has branched out into online conferences, and now it has added Think Vitamin Membership, which offers a series of videos on a variety of leading-edge web topics. You can get a 24-hour membership for free to check it out; then there are plans from $25 to $99 per month.
The video tutorial library initially has courses on HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, iPhone app development, and more, and they plan to add two new videos every day. Sounds like a serious competitor to Lynda.com may be in the making, at least for web-related topics.
With a membership, you also get access to the online conferences (there's two per month; you get to go to one with the $25/month membership, more with the higher-end plans), and access to invite-only Q&A sessions with prominent designers and web technologists.
It's impressive how much innovation has come out of this company, based in Bath, U.K. — a pretty cool location for a web company. We may just have to visit someday.
