Using the Linker Tool

Once you’ve set up your categories and item types, you need to get your links into your database — and continue to add links as frequently and effortlessly as possible.

To streamline this process, install our Linker bookmarklet in your browser. On the Content control panel (click the Content tab to access this page), click on the Link Tagger link (at the end of the knowledgebase section) and drag the link into your browser’s bookmarks (or Links) bar (you may need to enable this in your browser if it is not displayed).

Then, whenever you are viewing a page or a site that you want to add to your database, just click the Link Tagger bookmark. It will open a new browser tab with then “Add Item” screen, with the URL and title of the page you were visiting filled in.
