Site search now covers static pages

Webvanta's built-in site search, which has always covered all database-driven content, has now been extended to cover static pages as well. This allows content that is included in page templates or the editable regions of pages, but not in structured database items, to be covered in search results.

It is not enabled by default. To enable static page search, add a Global Setting named admin.search.enable_page_indexing, and set its value to "true".

You may want to make changes to your search results page as well. For all the details, see our just-updated support article, Using Site Search.
