Managing Users

When you signed up for Webvanta, you created your first administrative user account. You can create additional accounts for other administrators.

When you create a new user, you can set them up as either a full admin or as a content editor. Content editors have access to all of the site's content, but not to templates, CSS files, JavaScript files, or database structures.

You can change your password at any time by clicking your login name in the Admins list on the People > Admins control panel. This will bring up the Edit Admin form where you may enter a new password as well as update your name or email address.

To reset another user’s password, go to the People > Admins control panel, and click the Send Reset Password icon for the desired user. You can also delete users, which removes all of their access, and you can see when they last logged in and how many times they have logged in.

If you forget your password, click the Forgot Password link on the log-in screen and we’ll email you a link to reset your password.
