The built-in item types normally appear in the Content menu. If you are not using some or all of these types, you can remove them from this menu to simplify the admin options.

Create a config setting named:

ui.admin.menu.disable

And set the value to a comma-separated list of item type names. These names must be exactly as shown in this list:

Events, Books, Links, Blog Posts, Articles
